The telescoping wand on the Dyson DC14 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner is nice for reaching ceiling fans and valances. Spider webs and dust seems to just collect in spots like that and nothing short of vacuuming will get them down! While the wand isn't the easiest thing in the world to use, it isn't like you have to use it every day, and the effect of no cobwebs and bright curtains is well worth the bit of effort.

A few other perks about the Dyson DC14 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner is that it is very quiet compared to other vacuums. You don't realize how noise other vacuums are until you've used one that doesn't drown out everything else. No vacuum is going to be quiet, but for the power this one provides, it isn't deafening. You can actually listen to music while using this vacuum!

The biggest drawback I've seen is that while they say it doesn't lose suction, this is only true if you clean it. Cleaning the Dyson DC14 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner really isn't a big deal, but if you're buying the vacuum expecting it to just keep its suction no matter what, it might be a little irritating. A quick cleaning gets it back to the power that it was when you bought it though, so it isn't too bad. Shaking the dust canister a little when you empty it seems to do the trick, and taking a small dust-buster to it occasionally to get the rest of the fine dirt out of it really cleans it up nicely.

Overall it's a pretty impressive vacuum. No vacuum is going to be perfect, and it really comes down to what your pet-peeves are. The Dyson DC14 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner has been doing a great job of cleaning my home, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. No more dealing with cobwebs in the corners or pet hair on the sofa! Also, I don't think the nap of the carpet has looked this good in years. Definitely worth the price.
