My biggest complaint with the Hoover F6207-900 SteamVac Lite Carpet Cleaner with Heated Cleaning is that it doesn't dry the carpets very well. Sure, it sucks the dirty water back out, but the floor is left damp to the touch. It's best if you go over the carpet a couple times with just the suction going. This can also be remedied by setting up a couple fans to blow across the carpet after you are done in a room.

Cleaning the carpets early in the morning, right after the kids go to school is the best way for me. This way they have as much time to dry as possible before the kids get home and start running all over them.

Something that should be kept in mind is that the water containers have plastic latches on them. It doesn't seem to be a problem, but if things like this seem to break a lot in your household, you may not want this particular model.

There have been mixed reviews on whether the Hoover F6207-900 SteamVac Lite Carpet Cleaner with Heated Cleaning does a good job of removing stains. So far it has done well for me, but I make sure to get stains taken care of quickly. For tough stains, a quick treatment with a stain remover and then going over it with the Hoover seems to be the trick.

I did end up loaning this to a family member who needed to clean their carpets, and when he gave it back he said that other than how wet it left the carpet, the Hoover F6207-900 SteamVac Lite Carpet Cleaner with Heated Cleaning had done as good of a job as a carpet cleaner he had rented the year before. Supposedly the one he rented was a semi-pro model. Now he wants to go buy one of these Hoovers.

All in all the Hoover F6207-900 SteamVac Lite Carpet Cleaner with Heated Cleaning is a good choice for an inexpensive carpet cleaner that you can just tuck into a closet when you don't need it. It certainly gets the dirt out, and since that it what it is supposed to do, the drawbacks seem pretty minor.
